We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Training Developer, Lean Co-Ordinator to join our team.

If you have a relevant qualification or experience along with 5 years’ experience of Lean/continuous improvement in the construction or manufacturing industry and are ready for your next challenge, this could be the perfect project for you!

Reporting to the Site Operations Manager, the main function of the role will be to develop strong working relationships with all levels of staff to sustain a continuous improvement Lean culture within the site.

Strategic Responsibilities:

  • Create training schedules for all company departments, track and create reports on outcomes of all training and maintain training records for the company.
  • Train new hires on company policies and procedures and use the best training methods for a specific purpose or audience.
  • Gather and evaluate information from employees and management on previous training to identify weaknesses and areas that need additional training.
  • Attend seminars and meetings to learn new training methods and techniques and use the knowledge to prepare and coordinate future training sessions.
  • Market company training opportunities to employees and provide information on benefits to encourage participation.
  • Inform employees on scheduled training and track their progress.
  • Recommend training materials and methods, order and maintain in-house training equipment and facilities and manage the budget set for training.
  • With the Management Team and external lean provider, you will develop the Lean Strategy for the site.
  • You will be a key driver of change within the site, supporting Staff and Management by communicating the Lean plan to employees and helping them to implement the necessary improvements.
  • You will liaise with site Management and Key Operatives to assess current processes and identify process improvement opportunities.
  • You will have responsibility for planning and assisting in the completion of various Lean Kaizen & training events targeted towards improving the operational and plant performance and achieving the identified potential savings.
  • You will determine training requirements for staff arising from introduction/implementation of Lean Principles/Initiatives
  • You will manage the review process for selecting scoping and prioritising lean initiatives including A3 projects.
  • You will facilitate delivery of measured process improvement and the financial benefit of those improvements across the business (design and manufacturing and site install teams).
  • You will continue to train and develop yourself in line with Lean Thinking Best Practice and Industry Best Practice and ensure knowledge transfer from the external consultant.
  • From time to time, you may be required to provide cover in a production management role.

 

Responsibilities:

  • You will track and report progress on improvement initiatives that are aligned to business needs. This will include regular updates to the Directors and the Senior Management Team by way of reports and presentations.
  • You will track and report all associated spend on Lean Initiatives and reporting to Enterprise Ireland. Experience with dealing with EI is an advantage.
  • You will ensure together with the site management that the sites Lean Visual Reporting and Communications are kept updated and relevant.

 

Qualifications:

  • Green or Black Belt will have a significant advantage. Project management experience also desirable.
  • Proven Implementation of Lean Manufacturing experience essential 3-5 years.
  • Good technical capabilities, communication skills, teamwork abilities and initiative
  • Proven ability to work well as part of a team & on own with minimum supervision. A competitive remuneration package reflective of experience and qualification will be offered to the successful candidate.
  • Train the Trainer qualification preferred.

KTF Housing Ltd are currently recruiting for an experienced Combi-lift Driver based in Dundalk. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a Forklift Combi vehicle in a safe and efficient manner while ensuring that products and materials are loaded and unloaded accurately and on time.

Responsibilities:

  • Moving of materials to/from storage and production areas.
    • Ensure safe loading and unloading of deliveries
  • Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any issues to maintenance.
    • Follow all health and safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
    • Maintain the cleanliness of the Combi vehicle and the store areas.
    • Assist in other duties as required.

 

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2-year experience operating Combi-lift.
    • Valid Combi-lift license.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment as part of a team
    • Strong communication skills with good attention to detail and ability to work accurately.

KTF Housing Ltd is a Leading Timber Frame House Manufacturing Company based in Dundalk, Co.
Louth. Due to increased growth in our business, we are currently recruiting an Architectural Technologist
to assist our design team.
The Architectural Technologist will be responsible for preparing detailed construction and
manufacturing drawings for our timber frame manufacturing facility. Working as part of a
team, successful candidates must be motivated to manage their own workloads to meet
specific delivery dates and standards of service.
Job Type : Full Time, Permanent
𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐬:
  • Liaise with Client Design Team to bring clarity to the scope of deliverables.
  • Generate and manage Document and Drawing output using CAD Technologies.
  • Generate and manage technical submittals and schedules.
  • Product detailing & interfacing with other components and materials.
  • Co-ordination with Mechanical, Electrical and Process services.
  • Manage the issue/receipt of the Drawing Design information.
  • Maintain accurate records.
  • Comply with the design criteria laid out within the Health & Safety Plan.
  • Attend site meetings as required.
𝐑𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬:
  • A degree in Architectural Technology or equivalent professional/technical qualification plus two years of relevant experience; or a Higher Certificate/Diploma or equivalent qualification plus three years or relevant experience.
  • Experience in the use of Auto-Cad.
  • Experience in the timber frame industry desirable.
